I am in possession of a 1910 letter sent to Mrs. Christine B. Bartlett (spelled Bartlette) of Belgrade, MN from her cousin Octavia [unknown] from Sidney Center, MN dated April 5th.In this letter, Octavia speaks of a Mr. Weeks.
Also in the envelope is a letter from S.A. Whittier.
I purchased an old sewing machine approximately 20 years ago and found the letter inside one of the drawers. In the last 10 years I have been researching my various families and understand how important a letter like this could be for a family genealogist.I, recently, rediscovered the letter and want to pass it along to a direct descendant of this family.
Searching the census I found a family that I believe is the family of Mrs. Christine Bartlett:
1920 Kennebec Co., MN Belgrade Bartlett, Christina b. 71 yrs. b. MN widow Angiedaughter 31 yrs. b. MN Single
1910 Kennebec Co., MN Belgrade Bartlett, Greenlief 74 yrs. b. MN Farmer (second marriage of 25 years) Christine B. 61 yrs. b. MN Angie, daughter 21 yrs. b. MN
