Re: Bartons in Texas

I have an Elizabaeth Julieann Covington, born 1827, in Rutherford Co., TN. She married "Doc" Barton. I have no other info. The Covingtons moved to Texas along with a Marlin family. (Marlin TX was named after this family). Is there a connection to this Barton line?I have Marlin data.
