Thank you.Trying to get to the ancestral village of birth of your wife's father.His US record either church or government should have a precise location. One can only proceed with the name of a location.
We know he listed Austria.Poland but that can be Silesia or Galicia.Part of Galicia ended up in Ukraine. Hoping you will find a location as that is the only way your/your wife's research going forward.
