Battermann: Lower Saxony to ILL-IND

My own Battermann family members emmigrated from Kolenfeld bei Wunstorf (near the Steinhuder Meer)in the 1850s to the Crete,IL - Dyer,IN area just south of Chicago. In the course of doing family research on them, I have obtained information concerning a number of other yet unrelated Batterman(n)s in the Chicago, Palatine, Elgin, etc.,Illinois areas and would be happy to exchange my information on them with other Batterman(n) family researchers.
