My grandfather´s brother emigrated from Poland to the US, NY. His name was Henry Batterman, although my family name is Biderman, problems at Inmigration Office, most probably. In 1950 he wrote a letter from 638 Water Street, NY, saying that he had a grandson named Schmiel Ousher. Do you know if he is a relative of you? Thanx!
