You say you have info ref Battersbys circa 1700. I am researching GGF John Edward b reg Ashton -u-Lyne 27/09/1858,son of Richard/Jane.I think I have Richard b 14/11/1816 @ Pennington son of Richard/Catherine (Cunliffe),married M/cr 21/06/1796.Trail cools at this point,can you help please?
