Hi Richard:
My Battersby's settled in Simcoe when they came over from England.
My great-grandfather was John Battersby, wife Florence. They had a tobacco farm. Children were: Lily, Dorothy (Doll), Ruth, Fred, Jack, Gladys, Primrose and Joan.
Any relation?
