Hi Adolofo! Yes, I remember Dominic! He lived in Newton - we used to call it up on the hill - we lived on Washington St., the main street that is parallel to the train tracks (which is now the Mass Pike). There used to be a bridge that crossed over the tracks arcoss the street from our house. My grandparents would walk up the bridge and up the 'hills ' of Newton on the other side of the track and visit Dom and his wife & family. I remember, one time I went with them when I was about 13 yrs old. I was so-o-o-o bored because they all spoke Italian and I couldn't speak with anyone because I only knew English! My Aunt Julia (one of the aunts who visited the old country in 1960) does have some contact names of some family members in Italy. I'll have to get some more info from her! Before we lived on Washington St., the Tom Battistas livedin a part of Newton nicknamed 'the Lake', actually, its called Nonantum. Lots of Bianchis and Proias and Pellegrinis there.
Your wife is so-o-o lucky to have visited. I want to so badly. My child, Katy, is still home - just 11 yrs. old. I will call -first I want to talk to Auntie Julia - cause I KNOW she has alot more info to share.
Take care,
Roberta
