Mary Battle/William Taylor,NC/SC

Searching for the family of Mary Battle.She may have been married to William Taylor.She would be the grandmother of Theophilus Thorn born 1744 and died 1847 in Chesnee, SC.I'm not sure where she lived but most of the family seems to be in NC or SC.Could even be Virginia.

Any information would be deeply appreciated.
