Hello!!
My ancestor was Dempsey Sumner.He was some relation to Elizabeth Sumner who married Elisha Battle.Elizabeth was a daughter of John Sumner and her uncle was Jethro Sumner the father of Brig.Gen.Jethro Sumner.
I am trying to figure out what was the re'ship between my Dempsey Sumner and Elizabeth . Any help appreciated!!!!!Thanx!!
