I just found the above information on the Internet this morning and would appreciate any response regarding them or any of those mentioned below.
Cora Marie BATTLES is the wife of John O. LYTLE.They are my grandmother’s parents.
It is not clear to me exactly who was buried in Lansing, Iowa.If it is Cora, she may be buried with her husband John, who may have died before her. This is just a theory.
My thought is that Cora may have gone to Vale to live with one of her children after the death of her husband. At least two of John and Cora’s children lived in Vale, Oregon – Robert Day LYTLE, who died in 1967 in Vale, and Clara Elizabeth (LYTLE) SEAMAN, who died in 1970 in Vale.
I don’t know much about Clara, but I do know that Robert went to Vale shortly after his marriage to Josephine McCANN in 1914 in La Crosse, Wisconsin.
