My great grreat grandmother Marie Sandau,nee
Bauch was either born in Michaelsfeld,Kuban area Russia or Kronental(Deutsch-Chaginsk)
russia.she died in 1904 during the birth of her 12 th child.My father Gustav Sandau was born in Kroneental 1902.It appears both the Bauch and Sandau families originated from the Katzbach,Bessarabia area now part of the Ukraine.We know the Sandaus immigrated from
prussia to Polend and on to Katzbach 1816.
I have no other info on Marie(Mary) Sandau nee Bauch.There were several Bauch families in Bessarabia in the early and mid 1800's.
