My g-g-grandmother was Wilhelmine Kniss of Mecklenburg (abt.1808) and married Johann Engholm of Ribnitz, Meck. The Bauch Family is related to the Engholms in some manner. Noticing your name, could "Kniss" be the same name? Thanks!
