I know this posting is 3 years old, but if you still monitor this board I'd like to communicate with you. I am also researching Egidius Gideon Michael Bower and wife Magdalena Eck. I am descended from one of their children, Anthony (married to an Elizabeth Day). I believe the "Marietta" you reference can also be found listed as "Margaretta;" Marietta/Margaretta married a Benneville Klemmer and lived in Reading, PA.
