Last Will and Testament of John Spees dated 9 January 1893 and signed at the home of Uriah Burden: In the Name of the Beloved Father of All, Amen: I, John Spees of the Township of Duchouquet, County of Auglaize, and State of Ohio being about eighty one years of age and being of sound and disposing mind and memory do make, publish and declare this my Last Will and Testament, hereby revoking and making null and void all other Last Wills and Testaments by me made heretofore: FIRST: My will is, that all my just debts and funeral expenses shall be paid out of m6 Estate, as soon after my decease as shall be found convenient. SECOND:I give, devise and bequeath to my dear daughter Elizabeth all of my monies and a certain note described as follows: Dated March 28, 1889 due in two years after date, executed by Jeremiah Spees in favor of John Spees and calling for Four hundred and eleven dollars and 78 cents with 8% interest from date, except one hundred dollars of this note, and all of my household goods. THIRD: I give, devise and bequeath to my dear daughter Louisa one hundred dollars of the note given by Jeremiah Spees to my self for value received and described in second section of this will. FOURTH: I give, devise and bequeath to my dear son *Sylvanus* a note calling for one hundred and forty two and 24/100 dollars dated December the 8th 1878 and also a note calling for Fifty dollars and 65 cents dated Jan 10, 1876. Both notes executed by my son Sylvanus in favor of my self, never having been paid. FIFTH: I give, devise and bequeath to my dear son Stephan D. a note calling four hundred and fifty eight and 25/100 dollars, dated Aug. _ 1878 due in twelve months, the note was executed by the said Stephan D. my son in favor of my self the note never having been paid. SIXTH: Having given my dear son Samuel his share of my estate I do not bequeath to him any further share of my estate. SEVENTH: Having given my grandchildren Ellis Williams and Myrtle Williams children of my second daughter Margaret deceased their mother's share of my estate I consider that they have received their share. EIGHT: I give, devise and bequeath to my dear son Jeremiah my tool box and tools. NINTH: I announce and name as my executor Simeon Miller.
