My great grandfather's name was Anthony George Bauer from Germany.My great grandmother also came from Germany but we have little info.His son George had the last name Bowers [we don't know where or who made the change.George had brothers but did not keep much contact with his family.
Any connections? Most lived in the Buffalo and surrounding area as far as we know.
