I have been researching Andrew Gordon who emigrated to San Francisco in the late 1800s.Recently I discovered that Andrew was married to Christina Anna Bauman,daughter of Walter Bauman (b.Dec 1836,Baden Baden,Germany) and Mary Walther (b.Sep 1844,Prussia,Germany.Christina had eleven siblimgs eight of which living in 1900s.Christina died in 1906 perhaps as result of the earthquake.The death notice in the San Francisco Chronicle listed the following siblings Mrs.Lillian Voss, Louis, Gustave, Charles, Robert, Frederick, Walter and Arthur Bauman.I believe Walter died in 1962 and his occupation was given as retired grocer.
