Sharon, Hi!!William C. Beal is my ggg grandfather!His son Samuel Thompson is my gg-grandfather.He married Margaret Elizabeth Caroline Hawkins.Their youngest son Clarence was my great-grandfather. Clarence and Anna Frohn had four children.Margaret Elizabeth b. 1920 my grandmother, Dorothy May b. 1921, Frohna Lee b. 1923 and Clyde William b.1924.Do you know who Williams' parents' are??This is something that has been bothering my grandmother and I'd like to be able to find something before she's gone!!I thought maybe if we could find a death record we could find out his parents names.I know there is supposed to be a McCormick tie in.William is living next door to John B. McCormick in the 1850 census at Jefferson Co. Ill.William is 31 years and John B. McCormick is 62.They're surrounded by households of other McCormicks and Hawkins too!It was passed down through the family that the Beal name should have been McCormick at some point.But we always thought that is was the name of the father!Let me know what you think!
