I am a descendant of Alexander and Christiana through their sons John Egbert Bell Bean and Alexander Jr.(Second cousins eventually married and here I am.)I have some very interesting information about Alexander and Christiana's immigration to America.I would be willing to share.I have a question about this serving as a physician in the War.How could this be when he was a shoemaker in Scotland.Also, could you tell me more about Christiana's family background and anything else you have learned in Edgefield?I am dying to go there.Reach me at sbpeterson@usa.net.Thanks, Bonnie
