There is a margin statement that states inre Caldwells and Powells:"The info is documented that I am sending." As to the Beans, she wrote that much of the info originated w Alice C. Bean Patton at the time Anna Ruth married Inman The mother of Alice C.,Nancy Ellen Waynich, was 8 yrs old when her mother Cleo Disa Broome arrived in Golconda IL bringing along a female slave. This led Alice to believe that Cleo's first husband had been a landowner in a southern state. Second husband of Cleo: James Glass.
