I have a friend who's mother was named Lectia Mae Nichols/Nickels. She was born in 1911. UNKNOWN everything except she was Cherokee Indian and mother refused to sign her up on the roll.

His father was born around Searcy County, AR but family came to Indian Territory and have lived here every since. Everett said his mother had a brother named Clyde and at first he said Lyde but changed it and said Earl. She had a sister older than all of them named Maude that lived in Haskell, Muskogee County, OK and is buried there. That is where his family ended up.
