I can't answer your question, but he has a land grant saying that he arrived in Texas in Nov 1838 and filed for land on 7 Nov 1839 in Nacogdoches.Then it shows that the date of the unconditional certificate was issued on 2 Jun 1845.You can see this info at www.lsjunction.com BUT BEWARE....the Bean records don't all link to the right Bean name.I have notified them of the problem.

I am from the Franklin H. Bean line.A lot of this family went to Bell County Texas, some stayed and some returned to Smith County.Carol Dumas Allen
