Judie, I just found out today that my grandmother is related to Delia Lefebvre Walker, but I've not established the true relationship yet. Here's what I know and maybe you can help me out with the holes. 1.I have a picture of Matilda Davies LaMarche/Walker (my gr gr grandmother) with my gr grandfather, Loria, his 2 children Pauline and Helen, with 2 other children named Wesley and Sylvia Cantlin. It says "cousins". 2.I found that Wesley and Sylvia's father is Howard F. Cantlin and their mother is Blanche A. Bean (Lefebvre in the French Canadian language). 3.Following up on Blanche (24 in the 1920 census of Hinsdale, Cheshire, NH), I found whom I assume to be her brother, Phillip N. 30 in the 1920 census of Jaffrey, Cheshire, NH to have in his household a Melvin Walker 21(LaMarche in the French Canadian language)listing him as "nephew". 4.Melvin Walker 31 in the 1930 census has a housefull of people: his wife, Elizabeth 31, Delia L. Walker 50, Vivian E. 17, Vernon E. 17, Harold 15, Robert A. 1 11/12.They are on pg. 3A.On pg. 5B is Robert A. Walker 21 probably Melvin's brother. 5.Now, Blanche Bean/Lefebvre Cantlin's parents are Philbert Lefebvre and Albina Davis. This from her 1986 death report in Haverhill Town.
Questions: 1.Are Philbert and Delia brother and sister? 2.Who does Melvin Walker "nephew" belong to? 3.I assume Robert, Delia's husband has passed away by 1930, when & where, and who are his Walker/poss. LaMarche siblings? 4.Are you related to this family? If so, we are cousins of some sort :)
I would love to see the pictures you have of Mrs. Bean! Contact me through private e-mail and we'll discuss more.
