Susan, as I know I've mentioned to you before, I believe I am descended from McCraven's daughter Malinda Bane.In trying to find her in 1860, hopefully with one of the other members of her family, I have checked a lot of censuses.I found Nancy Bane in 1870 living in Butler Twp, Montgomery County, Indiana.She is 64, living with a Lydia Dixson, age 37, and a Harry Dixon age 13.My guess is Lydia was Nancy's daughter in-law as Nancy's first husband appears to have been Ira Dickson/Dixson/Dixon.Harry would be her grandson.Nancy appears to have died between the census in 1870 and the census in 1880 as she is not listed with Lydia and Harry Dixon who were still living in Butler, Montgomery, Indiana in 1880.
