This may help a little:On the 1900 census in Scarborough, Cumberland, Me (same co. as Gorham) there is a Widow Sarah O.Libby, b. May 1854 in ME, parents b. ME.She has 3 children: Anna L. Libby, b. june 1883, daughter, b. ME, Arthur C. Libby, b. jan 1887, son, and Emery W. Moody, son, b. aug 1878 in Maine, mother and father b. ME.There are 3 Emery Moodys in the US census for 1880, 2 b. in NH, but with wives not Sarah and1 is a teen age son. All are in the midwest.a 2 year old Emery W. Moody should be in the 1880 census, but I dont find him.It looks like this could be your Sarah Bean, twice widowed, with Emery Bean, Sr. dying before 1880; she then married a Libby and had 2 more children before he died before the 1900 census. In 1870 the only Emery Moody of right age is in Ossipee, NH, b. NH. He is single, living with a family of a different surname.
