Hi Miles, Sounds like we Must be related in a couple of places! I do have one slight correction to pass on to you about your Clement lineage though....Josiah (son of Clement 1) was not the father of Samuel who married Hannah Severance. Samuel's father was Clement 2 Moody who married Elizabeth Scribner. See if you can get a copy of Bob Anderson's TAG article from 1986.He did a Great research of the Clement line and found that Samuel could not be a son of Josiah's as so many had put.It was quite interesting. I think the confusion may have come from both brothers (Clement 2 and Josiah 2), marrying sisters from the Scribner family). Anderson says that Samuel Moody was born in April of 1732 and says that Josiah Moody was not even married until 1734.He has seen a will or deed of land, and also mentioned a court document where Father and Son were being sued together for a debt owed...this father and son was Clement and Samuel Moody. He gives dates and everything so his claims seem to be justifiable.Plus Bob is a great researcher and does much work for the NEHGS.
Thanks for the reply and the Great info you supplied.I appologize for being so long in answering you back, but I stay busy busy working on my Moody line.I can found on that page a lot quicker sometimes. I will read this all over and if I have anything else I can add to this, I will be back. Thanks again and good luck in your research.
