Hi Alan - any new info in the past four years? We need to get any and all info on George, one of the four founders of Bean Station.Yes, we can say that George was a son of Capt. William Bean II and Lydia Russell. However ..... your Hazard is still a best guess. Can you demonstrate that he was born ca. 1782 in Grainger County???That would be a big help to all of us.
George left Grainger in 1801 after losing a lawsuit and all his property. We have him proven in Rutherford County in 1807 with a land sale and gift from brother Edmund. He isthen with his brothers down in Franklin County from 1807 to 1815.Franklin is just across the river from Bradley (Cleveland) and makes the circumstantial case for Hazard, Edmund and Jacob.
Don't think anyone can go further back than William Bean I at Northumberland County VA.
