I hope your e-address is the same and you get notification of this post!
I find your info interesting as at the same time your Amderson Bean moved to Chickasaw Co., MS from Franklin Co., AL 2 of my Hooker families did also - and in Franklin Co.,AL one ofmy Hookers named a son Amstead which is NOT a normal Hooekr given name. Also, my g-g grandmother b. in Franklin CO.,AL in 1834 went to Chickasaw Co.,AL living with relativee there after 1850; she married her husband there c 1855. Her name was George Ann (sometimes referred to as Georgie Ann or Goergie Anna - she was named for her uncle, George Hooker, we suppose!!!!!!
Georgeianna does not seem to be a "Bean" given name as Amsted is not a "Hooker" one!!
The Beans seem to have moved from the NC/TN border area (Washington Co.,TN , previously Wash. Co., NC before 1796)across TN and then some into AL then MS - my Hookers did the same. I have always wonder if there was a kinship there??
