Hello Dick,I am also descended from Elijah Bean and have not been able to find any info about his ancestors.My brother recently had a DNA test done thru Ancestry.com (33 markers) and we found out we are from the R1b haplogroup.I know nothing about this group but hope to find some info in the near future.This isn't much to go on but it is more than we had.Hope this helps a little.If you find any info please let me know.I am thinking about expanding the number of markers to see if that will give us more info.Good luck.Pam, Brenham, Texas
