I posted the original on the Bears of Virginia. You might correpond with Dick Masincup on this thread. He was very helpful to me. I did read on other sites that the Bears were located in England, whether orginally or not, I don't know. Seems that Germany is more likely. My husband, William Everett Bear is a descendant of Christian Bear.
