My great-grandmother's maiden name was Bearbower, first name-Elizabeth.I know that this is not Bear, but thought maybey it was shortened at some time to Bear. If anyone has heard of or knows the origin of this name, I would greatly appreciate the information.The years would be 1875-1900+. Location: Buchanan Co.,Blackhawk Co.,or Fayette Co. Iowa
