I believe Joanna Beard was the daughter of Hannah and Andrew Beard (Baird).They were members of the Jersey Baptist Settlement bear Salisbury N.C. and are buried there.Abel hunt is mentioned in Hannahs will.Her mother was Johanna Hunt married to a Green so it is likely that Abel and Joanna were cousins,not unusual at that time.Try Salisbury public library.They have a lot of info on these families.Johanna Hunt Green is buied in Watauga.
