I now have reason to believe that your Joseph is my 'joseph'.I have accessed the 1880 Federal Census for Pike County, MS and a J.L. Beard appears as being born in 1872 to my John Taylor Beard and Caroline Alexander Beard.The time & place are right for our Josephs to be one and the same.I hope you see this message posting, I am most anxious to contact you.oldmg@juno.com
