It is possible we do have a tie-in with our families.I have been in touch with one from Mississippi. He also said they were Associate Reformed Presbyterians. These Beards came to Mississippi from NC. They were all listed as having been born in NC, except for the youngest and one older. The eldest in the family being from VA.The youngest children, of course born in MS. The head of this family was one Addie Beard (male) The oldest being his mother, I presume,Ann Beard 75 yrs in the 1850 census. Addie was married to Eleanor. My great grandfather was one of the children, 13 yrs in 1850, named Henry Augustus. All of the boys middle initial was an A. I would like to find Ann Beards maiden name and her husbands name. They may have married in NC. I did not find this family in Ms before the 1850 census. My grandfather and at least 2 of his brothers were listed as having served in the 23rd infantry in MS during the civil war.
