Re: Beards in Ohio

My Great Grandfather was from Wood County, Ohio.Frank Guy Beard.He left there sometime in 1880 (timeframe) and moved to Lansing Michigan.His first son was named Charles W. Born 9/22/1885 ....perhaps Frank is a brother to Charles as he has taken his namesake for his first son?
Any help would be appreciated as Frank is the last know relative of mine.
