Re: Wilcox Cty AL Beards

Speaking of Beard/Bairds in Dallas Co. AL, I have been told that in the Cahawba Press or Alabama State Intelligencer there is mention of the administrator applying to close the estate of Kerranhappuch Beard dated 1825.At this point that is all I know, but I am trying to find out who the administrator was and determine whether this was my Henry Bairds wife.There is a deed in Halifax Co. VA for Henry Baird that mentions his wife Kerranhappuch giving up her right to dower in the 1790's.Have you run across her name in Dallas Co. AL?
Also, in response to some of the emails regarding Beards from AL to Miss. I have come to learn that George and Martha (Woods) Beards son Henry Beard married Jane Currie Feb. 3, 1836 in Warren Co. Miss.I would love to know if anybody has any further info on this Henry Beard who was probably born around 1800 +/-.
