Jean,What was your ggrandfathers name? I am
not aware of any connection at this point, but his name and any other info would be
helpful.

There is strong evidence of at least 2 Beard
families in the Maury, Hickman Co. TN areas
and Lauderdale, Lawrence, Franklin Co., AL
areas.They seem to be living in the same
areas at the same time.Both seem to have
realtives that moved to Texas.

Cannot make any link at this time.At least
one Beard family in TX has a strong family
resemblance to our Beards.

Any further info would be helpful.

Any link in Hickman or Maury to any Hamletts,
Hickmans, Gowers, Doggetts?
