I don't have a connection to the Beards other than an Adam Beard was surety for my ggg grandfather, Woodson Dowdy and Sarah Mitchell.I have noticed that two Beards have also married two Mitchells from Bedford, VA.I am looking for any help that you may be able to give me on Dowdys/Mitchells and/or Beards/Dowdys/Mitchells connections.I have a feeling this is a long shot, but I am researching any angle at this point.
