I am a descendent of this Alexander Beard.I do not have any direct information, but I am looking into whether he is the Alexander Beard who married Elizabeth Clark whose father was a cousin of William Clark of Lewis and Clark fame.My Aunt Edna has always claimed that there is a connection.
