Charles Edward Beard, b1862 d1938, Texas

I am looking for any information on Charles Edward Beard, He married Eliza Jane KIRKLAND
They had at least 5 children: Raymond Calvin Beard (my great grandfather) Elija (Lidge), Frank, Marlin, and Looney. I know that they resided in Bowie and Cass county Texas but I do not know where the family lived before that.
Any information would be greatly appreciated.
