I believe I have found Phillip Michael and Mahalain 1880 in Sugar Ridge, Clay County, Indiana. They are listed under Michaels

Phillip is age 60 born in Indiana
Mahala is age 46 born in Indiana
They also have living with them two granddaughter's Cora Brown age 6 born Indiana Indiana and Clara Brown age 4 born in Indiana at least I think this is them because Mahala was the only one that showed up being born in the 1830's on the census Index for the United States. And I have she died April 14, 1894, so this has to be them. I have no death date for Phillip.

I don't know where they were between 1850 and 1880. I don't know which of her girls married a Brown.I am also looking for a Brown family in Decatur Co., Indiana.

I have Phillip's and Mahala's children as:

Barton Michael,Elizabeth Michael, Porter Michael, Moses Michael,Gideon Michael b March 30, 1855 Decatur County, Indiana, Mariah Michael. I have Mariah Michael b abt 1859 with no place of birth. I have the rest being born in Decatur County, Indiana. That was sent to me by another researcher, but that's all they sent me. I have not seen the 1860 or 1870 or 1890 census for them.
