Re: Beards in Columbia (etc.) Co.,NY, around 1730s

Robert, I have many Beards in the Chenango County area.My Beards are all descendents of A.I. (Andrew Issiah) Beard, born around 1772.He was married five times. The first marriage was to "J"- that is all that is known at this time, his second wife was Margret Beard, number three was Harriet Belknapp on July 7, 1816 in Greene, Chenango County, New York. Number four was Martha Haverness (I am descended from her) on July 9, 1841 in Port Huron, St Clair County, Michigan and his fifth wife was Elizabeth Nevit whom he married on May 4, 1847 in Port Huron, St. Clair, Michigan.
