I have seen at WorldConnect where:

Adolphus Clarkson Beard b.1824 GA m. 1843 Nanct D. Donaldson was the son of James F. Beard b. 1788 Abbeville Dist. SC d, 1858 m. 7 APR 1808 Jackson County, GA to Nancy Blankenship b. 1788 SC.He would be brother to John A. Beard b. 30 OCT 1811 SC d. 13 MAR 1895 Jackson County, GA and Rev. James Beard born abt. 1816 SC who married Caroline b. abt. 1830 NC.These Beards were living in Jackson County per the 1860 & 1880 census.Several are burried in Hoschton City Cemetery, Jackson County, GA.

Nancy Blankenship Beard is listed on the 1860 Jackson County census living with her are her children & grandchildren:
1860 Jackson County Census it list:

Worldconnect shows the parents of James F. Beard (1788-1856) to be William Wallace Beard v.1760 SC d.1825 GA and Samanthy Clarkson.

William Walace's parents are shown as Thomas Beard b.1739 d.12 Sep 1797 m. 1759 Janet.

At some time in the 1880's my Beard's began to spell their name "Baird"I descend fron John A's son Robert Amos Barid.
