Searching for Beards/Bairds descended from Wards

Hi, I am searching for a line of Beards/Bairds that are direct descendants of George Ward and Amanda Gable of Baltimore, MD.Perhaps they descend from their daughter Bertha's line? George lived from 1866-1934.Amanda(nee Orem)1963-1945.I am descended from their son William Henry Gable Ward...there is much confusion at this juncture in my family tree, and I hope by seeking out some distant cousins, someone can shed a little light on things.Were George and Amanda actually married?If so where did the name Gable come from, since her father is listed as Frank Orem, and why did she pass Gable on to her son?And why on her death certificate is her husband's name listed as John instead of George.If any of this ring bells with anyone out there please contact me.FormulaHJ7@aol.com
