I am very interested in the family of Abel and Huldah (GARDNER) BEARD.

I am descended from a John BEARD who was born somewhere in New York, the son of an Abel and Huldah BEARD. He married Lois Ann DILLINGHAM in Cherry Valley, Winnebago Co., Illinois. John and Lois lived at least part of that time with his parents Abel and Huldah in Cherry Valley. John died there. As Abel and Huldah were getting on in years I assume at the moment that they died there also. Lois Ann moved on to Franklin Co., Iowa with her DILLINGHAM family and her surviving children by John BEARD.

Can you tell me anything about this family. It certainly seems to be the right Abel and Huldah. Do you have any information on John? Any of the ancestry of Abel? On Huldah?
