Looking for info on William O Beard Born Nov 1847 Lebanon or Cornwall PA

I am looking for informatin on William O Beard born November 1847.There is a family member doing our family tree but cannot find any information earlier than William O 1847.There had been talk at one time in the family that we came from Ireland and that the name was once Baird and then changed to Beard.If anybody has any information it would be greatly appreciated.I noticed that 2 years ago somebody had a picture of a young child with the name Mrs Sam Beard written on the back...well that would have been my Great Grandmother...if anybody has that picture or any further information on that I would love to hear about it or possibly even have that picture.
