Craig,I have a DAR application, national number 426880, that lists David's wife as Lucinda and the marriage date as 1797.It is unclear what the source was used.Every other source I have lists his wife as Jenny or Jane "Jenny" and the marriage date as either 3-24-1800 or 3-25-1800.The sources for this are Early Sumner Marriage Records on the net;Dry Fork Church of the Cumberland Presbyterians Family Records on the net; Descendents of David Beard (your David's father) on the net; and a 1981 letter sent from Walter L. Bradley of Springdale AR to Bernal Meador who was then writing his book on the Meador families (related trough your David's sister Sarah C.--my line).So I really don't know who Lucinda is or how she fits in, but I have at least one source for her-DAR.Also David and Jenny named one of thier daughters Lucinda, b 1807.That is as much as I know.What do you have on Lucinda?If you can give me a good lead I will gladly look further.Next trip to the DAR library I'll see if I can nail down their source for Lucinda as well, which I'll gladly share with you.Cheers, Bill
