Alton Rose Beard m. Alice Mathew in IA

I'm looking for the cause of death and possible descendants of Alton Rose Beard, son of David Beard and Elizabeth ROSE. Alton b. 14 Oct 1861 married Alice MATHEW of Iowa on 24 Feb 1890. Alton died just a year and a half later on 25 Sep 1891. The only other information I have on Alice is that she was born abt. 1870.
I'd be delighted if you could help with this.
