Please help me solve this mystery. In 1857 a young Irish couple immigrated to Canada to seek a new life. IN Toronto,Canada,April 15-1858,their daughter was born. They heard of a wagon train going to the new state of Mn.where lands were opened to homesteaders. They joined the train of French Canadians in spring of 1859 leaving from Quebec. Waverly,Mn. was the destination of the wagon train. Eliza's father was the first to die-and her mother soon after-but firsther mothermade arrangements for CORNELIUS and ADELINE BEBOto raise her daughter in exchange for all they had. They would never tell Eliza what her real name or her parent's name was. I would like to. Somewhere she had family in Ireland that wondered also.Thank you for any help you may offer.
