In the Name of God Amen I William Beckham Senr. of the State of South Carolina Kershaw County-beaver Creek being of sound mind and memory-but Cauling to mind the Mortality of my body And knowing that it is appointed for all men once To Die I do make Constitute and ordain this my last Will and testament in the manner and form as follows with Imprimis—First I give and bequeath to my Son James Beckham Simon Beckham Philimon Beckham-Benjamin Beckham-William Beckham-Elizabeth Bennet-and Caty Gardner One Shilling Sterling apeace and no More---- Secondly I give and bequeath to my two Daughters Molley Beckham and Nancy Beckham all my Household furniture And living Stock of every kind to be equally Divided between the two at my Decease----thirdly and Lastly I Do Constitute And appoint my Eldest son Simon Beckham and Thomas Gardner Executors to this my last will And testament- Disannuling and revoking all other testaments wills Codicils of wills by me made ratifying this to be my last Will and testamentIn Witnefs whereof I have hereunto set my hand and Seal this twenty second Day of July in the year of our Lord one thousand Seven hundred and Ninety six-----------
